Cost Recovery Portal Overview
Purpose
This page is the main information hub when a billable party logs into their Cost Recovery Portal account. It contains links to navigate them through all the different sections of their account.
This page has multiple sections described in more detail below.
| Section Menu | Short Description |
|---|---|
| Global Navigation | This section contains summary information about the project and is available on every Cost Recovery Portal page. |
| Overview | Displays an overview of the user's Cost Recovery Portal account. |
| Footer | Footer section of the Cost Recovery Portal. This section displays by default at the bottom of all pages in the system. |
| Project Billing Pop-up | Displays the billing package documents for the invoice and user account. |
| Project List Pop-up | Displays a list of projects associated to the account. |
Global Navigation
The Global Navigation is contained on every Cost Recovery Portal page and contains the fields listed in the table below:

| Link – CA.gov | Links to the State of California homepage. |
| Link – Home | Links to the Home page of the Cost Recovery Portal. |
| Link – DTSC | Links to the DTSC home page. |
| Link – Help | Opens the online help documentation. |
| Log Out | Logs the user out of the system. |
| Link – Settings | Displays the CA Template settings. |
| Link – Overview | Navigates the user to the Cost Recovery Portal Overview page. |
| Link – Invoices | Navigates the user to the Invoices page. |
| Link – Payments | Navigates the user to the Payments page. |
| Link – Billable Parties | Navigates the user to the Billable Parties page. |
| Link – Profile | Navigates the user to their Profile page. |
| Project Code | Displays the Project Code (unique project identifier). |
| Project Name: | Displays the name of the project. |
| Link – Change Project | Display the Project List Pop-up of other projects to which the user is attached. |
| Link – Make a Payment | Navigates the user to DTSC's payment site. |
Overview
The Overview section contains the fields listed in the table below:

| Project Overview | The Project Overview section shows the Account Balance and the Advance Balance, if any. |
| Account Balance | Displays the total amount due on the account. |
| Advance Balance | Shows the total advance balance on the account. |
| Latest Payments Received | The Latest Payments Received section shows the date and amount of the latest payments. |
| View All Payments – Link | Navigates to the Cost Recovery Portal Payments page for the project. |
| Latest Invoices Issued | The Latest Invoices Issued section show the most recent invoices. The fields below appear in this section. |
| Issue Date | Date the invoice was issued. |
| Invoice # | Unique invoice identifier. |
| Amount | Amount of the invoice. |
| Balance | Total balance remaining on the account. |
| View All Invoices – Link | Navigates to the Cost Recovery Portal Invoices page for the project. |
| View (Billing Package) – Link | Displays the Project Billing pop-up. |
Project Billings Pop-up
The Project Billings Pop-up contains the fields listed in the table below:

| Mailing Label – Link (View) | Opens the Mailing Label in a new window. |
| Billing Letter—Link (View) | Opens the Billing Letter in a new window. |
| Billing Package—Link (View) | Opens the Billing Package in a new window. |
| Close – Button | Closes the Project Billings Pop-up. |
Project List Pop-up
The Project List Pop-up contains the fields listed in the table below:

| Project Name | Displays the name of the project. |
| Project Code | Unique project identifier. |
| Program Type | DTSC program area that manages the project. |
| Select to View Project (View Project link) | Navigates to the Cost Recovery Portal Project Overview page for the selected project. |
Footer
The Footer sections contains the fields listed in the table below:
